Welcome to The Thames Valley Catenians - and surounding areas!
We are a network of Catholic men who meet regularly to enjoy each other’s company and to help and support each other throughout the world.
Founded in Manchester, Catenians can now be found in many countries and today are active throughout the U.K., Ireland, Australia, Malta, India, Bangladesh Zimbabwe, South Africa and Nazareth.

Our local Circles meet monthly and arrange activities both for their members and their families: meals together , barbecues, picnics, visits to the theatre and sporting events are all popular.

Who are the Catenians?
We are an international Catholic community that welcomes all Catholic men married or single, who are committed to their faith, their families, those in need and to each other.
Our primary purpose is to develop our network of friends, enhancing our family life, strengthening and sustaining our faith and each other.
Our friendships are developed by meeting monthly, organising and taking part in varied social events, together with our families, widows, friends and members of our parishes.
What we do
As a network of Catholic men who meet regularly to enjoy each other's company and to help and support each other throughout the GB and beyond.
We have/hold regular, relaxed events – think sporting activities, quiz nights, family fun days, charity fundraisers, business networking, and other social events – provide friendship, advice, opportunities, care, a listening ear and, if necessary, financial support.
The Association is committed to fostering a culture of safety and care to protect children, young people, our families, and all vulnerable adults.
